About Us

Brounley Engineering was founded in 1968 by Richard Brounley as an independent consulting firm specializing in the development of radio frequency power generators and related devices, primarily in the field of advanced communications. By the early 1980's, the firm's expertise had expanded to include the development of high powered RF systems used to drive sealed gas lasers for medical, military and industrial applications. In 1993 Brounley Engineering began developing high-efficiency RF power generator systems for semiconductor etching, film deposition, and sputtering equipment. We also developed sold-state impedance matching devices, high-powered RF dividers and combiners, switching DC power supplies, and application-specific control systems.

To better serve our customers, we have expanded our services to include mechanical design, PC board design, complete documentation including manuals and procedures, prototype production, safety compliance engineering, and employee training.

Years of experience developing and integrating complex systems for many of the world's technological leaders have made Brounley Engineering one of the most respected names in RF power design.
