BE1200 Laser Driver

The BE1200 Laser Driver is a 1200Wpk, 500W average laser driver designed to be used with a standard DC power supply in the development and testing of laser systems. The unit is self-contained, air-cooled, and has protection against excessive VSWR and temperature. Full forward power is developed during VSWR fault conditions providing enhanced striking. Forward and reflected power monitoring is automatically returned to normal when the fault is removed.

The BE1200 output power is varied with the DC power supply voltage and varies, approximately, as the square of the input voltage. The duty cycle is automatically limited to 500W of the average power above a B+ voltage of 32V. The input control voltage is TTL. The unit is housed in a standard 19" rack mount package, 3.5" high, and is ideally suited for burn-in stations. Multiple outputs are also available.
